Why an early Bronco

Some machines carry a whole coastline with them.

Ford built the first Bronco for eleven years and then never quite found the thread again. We think it's the perfect California vehicle: honest, boxy, happiest with the top off and sand in the carpet.

“Neither a conventional car nor a truck, but a vehicle which combines the best of both worlds.” Ford Motor Company, introducing the Bronco, 1966

We restore and reimagine 1966–1977 Broncos — and only those — from our shop in Venice. Every truck keeps its soul and loses its excuses: modern brakes, modern steering, cold air, and an engine that starts every single time.

From the shop

Every truck leaves with a name.

The Bronco Builder

Spec the one that's yours.

Twelve heritage paints. Four tops. Three engines. Leather cut and stitched in-house. Configure your Bronco down to the stitch and send us the build — we'll take it from there.

Start building

The process

Months of hands. Decades of miles.

No. 1

The conversation

We start with how you'll use it — school runs, canyon mornings, the drive to Zuma. Budget, timeline, and taste, face to face or over the phone.

No. 2

The donor

We source a straight, honest 1966–77 tub and frame — or start from the truck that's been in your family since before you drove.

No. 3

The build

Body-off restoration. Every bolt, bushing, and wire is new or renewed. Paint, powertrain, and upholstery come together in one shop, under one set of eyes.

No. 4

The handoff

Shakedown miles on PCH before delivery day. Then the keys, the paperwork, and a truck that starts every time you turn it.

In every build

Classic outside. Uncompromising underneath.

Suspension

Bilstein dampers

A modern lifted stance that still rides like a grown-up — composed on the 405, capable in the sand.

Brakes

Wilwood discs

Four-wheel disc conversion. Fifty-year-old drum brakes are charming right up until they aren't.

Steering

Borgeson power steering

One-finger parallel parking in a truck your grandfather needed both arms to wrestle.

Climate

Vintage Air

Discreet, ice-cold A/C hidden behind an original-looking dash. Top on or off, August is handled.

Instruments

Dakota Digital dash

Period-correct faces over modern electronics — accurate gauges, no guesswork, no dead needles.

Powertrain

Warrantied V8s

From a freshly built 302 to a Gen-3 Coyote — dyno-tuned, fuel-injected options, and covered in writing.

Interiors

Cut, stitched, and fitted in-house.

Saddle tans, mahoganys, parchments. Diamond stitch or smooth. Wood-rim wheels and hidden touchscreens. This is where a truck becomes yours.
